JESUS SAVES

Who is Jesus?
JESUS offers good news of salvation, healing and hope.
His invitation is for all people, all nations, all languages, whoever calls on his name.
His name itself, Jesus, means ‘God saves.’

He came to bridge the divide between heaven and earth and to make a way for humanity to be restored to God. He gave his life in payment so that anyone can receive forgiveness and redemption.

His character and mission are to do good and to represent His father. He says:

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He has chosen me to be His representative to the poor and to preach good news to them. He sent me to tell those who are held captive that they can now be set free and to tell the blind that they can now see. He sent me to liberate those held down by oppression. To proclaim that now is the time; it is the year of the Lord's favour."

LUKE 4:18-19

HOW TO RECEIVE SALVATION

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY? God loves you and offers His wonderful plan for your life. He desires for you to receive salvation and that no one is kept from Him. His arms are open to all who accept his invitation. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” John 3:16

BE WATER BAPTISED

BE ‘ALL IN.’ Be water baptised. Baptism means to immerse and overwhelm – to be all in. Jesus wants us to be fully immersed, full of and empowered by Him. God has wonderful things planned for us and He asks that we continue stepping out. God does not want you stagnant – there is always more to be poured into you and poured out through you.

GATHER TOGETHER

FRIENDS WITH A MISSION. Why do we go to Church? Church is not just a building, it is group of people who gather together to follow God. It is a place of life-giving truth and encouragement. We are friends on a mission to share the good news of Jesus Christ, to live with purpose and fulfil our calling.

LEARN TO PRAY

TALKING TO GOD. When you learn to pray remember you don’t need fancy words, or a script of what to say. God responds to faith-filled prayers from the heart. The cry of the broken, joy-filled expressions of thanks, requests for miracles or our simply our daily needs are all heard. We can have confidence God hears us, knows what we need and works for good.

BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT? He is the most important person you will meet. He counsels, comforts, directs, equips and empowers us to live above our circumstances, outside of our limitations and over our expectations. He is the great gift Jesus promised to send us and He is God by our side.
